There are several airports in the Las Vegas area, but the most well-known and busiest airport is McCarran International Airport (LAS). There are also several smaller public airports in the surrounding area. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), as of September 2021, there are 11 public-use airports within a 50-mile radius of Las Vegas, including:
- McCarran International Airport (LAS)
- Henderson Executive Airport (HND)
- North Las Vegas Airport (VGT)
- Boulder City Municipal Airport (BVU)
- Jean Sport Aviation Center Airport (0L7)
- Mesquite Airport (67L)
- Pahrump Valley Airport (1L9)
- Echo Bay Airport (0L9)
- Overton Municipal Airport (U06)
- Calvada Meadows Airport (NV74)
- Indian Springs Auxiliary Army Airfield (INS)
It’s worth noting that some of these airports may be closed to public use, or have restrictions on the types of aircraft or operations that are allowed.
